| The post-licensure education requirement for salespersons is 18 classroom hours and this course is offered in three, six-hour segments on the dates listed below. Brokers who were first licensed as brokers after January 1, 2002, must complete 30 classroom hours of post-licensure education before becoming an executive broker or principal broker. Any broker not completing the course and furnishing the Arkansas Real Estate Commission with documentation of such course completion within one calendar year will have his/her broker's license placed on inactive status by the Commission.
The post-licensure broker course consists of the salesperson course modules plus two broker modules as approved by the Arkansas Real Estate Commission. All dates are listed below.
The fee for the 18 hour post licensing course is $160.00. The fee for each Broker modules is $50.
The first segment of the course is “Practical Application of Agency and Disclosure”. Class time is 8 am 12 and 1 pm 3 pm. “Real Estate Contracts” is the second segment, which begins 3:30 pm 6:30 pm on the first day and continues to the second day from 8 am 11 am. Lunch on day two will be from 11 am until 12 noon. On the second day at 12 noon, we will start segment three, “From Contract to Closing” and will finish the course at 6 pm.
Broker modules meet 9am to 4pm.
